We are having a major change of plans... Our original plan to drive north form Cape Town, starting in early 2006, was a bit ambitious. We are to stay on at work for another 6 months, to save up some more money. This will mean leaving late 2006. At this time the seasons are better then for heading south towards, rather than north from, Cape Town .
We probably could do the trip in early 2006 but as this is going to be a trip of a life time we do not really want to be worrying about money or equipment that we have had to short cut on to make ends meet. This does not mean that we will be doing this trip with out a budget, we will earn enough in 6 months to be comfortable, but not that much!
