our truck 'Dino the Donkey'

This is our truck called Dino (the donkey)! It is a 1997 Land Rover Defender 110 300Tdi hardtop that was, in its previous life, an 'Environment Agency' spare car. It had only 44000 miles on the clock so we think it has been used fairly lightly.

It was located for us by Robs father and brother from The Defender Centre in Stourbridge, West Midlands, UK.

The guys at The Defender Centre where very helpful and fitted a new cam belt and got the car a fresh MOT. They also fitted a small window in the left side panel, to aid visibility on junctions.

The car came from the environment agency with checker plate wing tops, head lamp guards, bonnet mounted spare wheel, tow hook, centre seat, an alarm system and a Nokia in car phone system (not very useful when you are in the middle of the desert).
