Sandy narrow track, in places steep and bumpy or muddy.
Palma to Macomia
Tar with ok bits and bad pothole bits. The 25km north of Macomia is sand.
Macomia to Pangane
Earth track to Mucojo, fairly smooth. Sandy beach track to Pangane.
Macomia to Pemba to Ilha de Mozambique to Nampula
Good Tar
Nampula to Quelimane, via Mocuba
Good tar till 20 km E of Alto Molocue. Road works on and off to Mocuba. Will soon be tar all the way. Fairly good tar to Quelimane with the odd road works
Quelimane to Gorongosa to Chimoio to Zim border
Good tar, a bridge over the Zambezi is under construction, still a few years away though
